It's October and that means just a few things in Texas are socially acceptable like pumpkin spice everything, spooky decorations, and pumpkin carving or painting. This year HubCity Slaps and Cactus Cat Studios are partnering together to host their very first Pumpkin Painting Party.

This event is a family friendly event and offers everyone the opportunity to unleash their inner artist by bring some personality and vigor to a pumpkin for the spooky holiday season. This event is more for kids and they don't have to be a seasoned artist, like Bob Ross, but can be a beginner who just wants to express themselves in a unique Autumn way.

It is advised to wear clothing that you don't mind your child getting paint on just in case they splatter or have an accident during the process. You will have to purchase tickets in advance for this event as they are limited, and the cutoff date will be October 6, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. There will be extra goodies you get with your ticket which includes two free sticker sheets, a Halloween themed wristband, the pumpkin, there will be hot dogs and drinks for sale at this event. In honor of the spooky season there will even be a raffle to win two wristbands to Nightmare on 19th Street.

Tickets for this event are going fast and there is currently an early bird special for tickets, which can be purchased online at the HubCity Slaps website for just $15.  This event will be at HubCity Slaps physical store location, 4204 Boston Avenue, in Lubbock on Saturday, October 14, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m..
