Actress Glenne Headly, best know for her work in the big-screen adaptation of Dick Tracy, has passed away at the age of 63, TMZ reports.

A rep for the actress did not give a cause of death.

Headly's signature role came in the 1990 Warren Beatty/Madonna movie Dick Tracy, in which she played the title character's love interest, Tess Trueheart. The film won three Oscars: two in technical categories and one for Stephen Sondheim for Best Original Song for "Sooner or Later (I Always Get My Man)," sung by the Material Girl.

Headly was also nominated for two Emmy Awards, for her work on the classic 1989 miniseries Lonesome Dove and the 1996 TV movie, Bastard Out of Carolina.

In addition, she scored roles in notable films like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Mr. Holland's Opus, as well as parts in TV series like ER, MonkThe League and The Night Of.
