From Lettuce To Thanksgiving Leftovers, Time For Some Food Safety Tips
No one wants to get sick from the food they eat, yet sometimes it does happen. Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets joined us today to give out a few food safety tips.
While some lettuce is safe to eat right now, Duby suggested that everyone wash their lettuce and vegetables every time they are being prepared. The practice is just good for safety and only takes a little extra time. Duby also suggested eating yogurt and helping out your "gut health" with probiotics.
Another food safety tip? Throw out the Thanksgiving leftovers in the refrigerator and clean your refrigerator.
Check out all of Brenda's tips in the video above!
