This story was just too crazy not to share. Basically, doctors notice a lot of people coming into hospitals in New York and L.A. with similar ailments. The patients have two things in common, cocaine use, and rotting flesh. This connection is made pretty quickly, so they start studying the drug. Turns out that levamisole, a drug used to deworm livestock, is the likely culprit.  The scarier thing is that more than 80% of cocaine seized across the country, not just in NY and L.A., has been laced with levamisole, so a lot more of these cases may start showing up. I spared you the pictures, but if you want them, head over to ABC news.
