EMINEM AND RIHANNA LEAD BILLBOARD AWARD NOMINATIONS

Eminem and Rihanna lead the pack for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards Nominations. Rihanna is nominated for 18 awards, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top R&B Artist and Top Dance/Electronic Artist for her "Love the Way You Lie" collaboration with Eminem -- who picked up 16 nominations. Lady Gaga is up for 12 awards, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Pop Artist, And Top Touring Artist.

Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars are tied with 11 nominations, while Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha, and Taio Cruz are up for five awards.

The Billboard Music Awards will feature performances from Rihanna, The Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and more.
The 2011 Billboard Music Awards will air live on May 22nd at 8pm on ABC.
The ceremony will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
