Hub City Comic Con is making its return on September 3rd – 5th, 2021, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

I am incredibly excited to see Hub City Comic Con return so all of Lubbock's biggest nerds can reunite. It seems like it will be a fantastic event with celebrity guests, artists, live wrestling, panels, and of course the vending hall full of goodies. You can also get the chance to show off your skills in their gaming and cosplay contests.

One of the things I love most about events like Hub City Comic Con is that people of all ages and backgrounds come together to share their love for their fandoms. Whether you are an older fan that grew up playing Mortal Kombat and can't wait to meet Sonya Blade (Kerri Hoskins) and Sub Zero (Keith Cooke), or you’re a younger anime fan that really wants to meet Tanjiro Kanado (Zach Aguilar) and Mirio ‘Lemillion’ Togata (Ricco Fajardo), you will find something to enjoy.

Some of the celebrity guests attending include Griffin Burns, Jason Douglas, and Erik Stolhanske. Check out the Hub City Comic Con website for the guest list as well as all of the planned activities. You can also keep an eye out on their Facebook and Instagram for guest schedules and other announcements.

Membership prices are very affordable with a two-day member pass for only $30 as well as exhibitor booths starting at $250. If you want to go all-out then you can become a VIP or even a special Sonya Blade VIP if you are the ultimate Mortal Kombat fan. Check out their website for more membership information.

I hope to see some of you there, snag some merchandise, meet some guests, and snap some pictures of all of the amazing cosplays at this year’s Hub City Comic Con.
