As a lot of people are dedicating part of their lives to the victims of the Connecticut tragedy, Ellen Degeneres dedicated her show to them. And she had Bruno Mars kick off the show with his song "Count On Me".

In Ellen's prologue she said, "Today we’re taping our first show since the events that took place in Connecticut. My goal for this show every day is to make you happy and make you feel good for an hour. I want it to be a safe zone. I want it to be light and filled with joy."

As a fitting tribute, Bruno's song may help some people fight their way through the horrible events of last Friday. At least emotionally, it can help some of them. Here's hoping everybody can find a way to deal with this and come out the other side alive.
