What was once an annual adventure is returning this year. For those of you that remember, the Easter Bash was often epic. For those that have never been, this could be the biggest party of the year.

What started out as a house party for Lubbockites with nothing better to do on Easter Sunday evolved into a big band-having, couch-burning, party monstrosity that eventually ate itself and was subsequently canceled. Some things just can only get so big before they aren't fun anymore.

This is going to be a resurrection of sorts. There will be a cool local band lineup and DJs throughout. If you think you might attend, please be sure that you leave any violent party notions behind because this party is closer to Burning Man than a riot.

Here's the band lineup:

Spivey, Vice Versa, Glass Cannon, Sugar Witch, Lies Camera Aktion, Kenny Paul Harris, Crooked Mile, Tone and HD Trilla & Young D.

DJs include: DJ Ramo, Hust33n, Justin Fate and Hookz.

So bring your love of fun and openness to experience new things and meet new people. Also, it's all ages. It goes down Saturday, March 26 at 2906 Texas Ave. in Lubbock from noon to 10 p.m.

More details coming as they emerge.
