AUSTIN, Texas — Voters chose Confederate Air Force and Longhorn as their two all-time favorite TV spots of the iconic Don’t Mess with Texas litter prevention campaign and now must choose the Face-Off winner. Voters can watch the ads now on http://dontmesswithtexas.org/celebrityfaceoff/ and cast as many ballots as they want.

Over half a million votes whittled the field down to these two finalists. The votes are now re-set to start the final voting phase. One ad features a singing and talking Longhorn who notices the mess on Texas roads. That ad faces off with the Confederate Air Force, now the Commemorate Air Force, which shows an airplane flying overhead letting Texans know that somebody up there is watching for litterers.

Don’t Mess with Texas will reveal the winning TV spot after February 21, and it will air across the state throughout the silver anniversary year of the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) litter prevention campaign.

This is one of the finalists for the Favorite Don't Mess With Texas Commercial of all time.

And here's a banned Matthew McConaughey ad, just for fun.
