‘Dog Days of Summer’ A Family Fun Event to Benefit SPCA Lubbock

Family fun, food trucks, face painting and... a dog kissing booth! These are just a few of the features of the "Dog Days of Summer" event happening this Saturday, May 13th.

There will also be live music, a sidewalk chalk contest, and free hot dogs while they last -a hot dog is a perfectly suitable appetizer to the food truck food in my opinion. Best of all, the event is free to enter and all proceeds benefit the South Plains SPCA, which not only runs an animal adoption program but also trains animal cruelty investigators in order to help prevent the abuse of animals.
