Disney+ Launch ‘Fail’ Sparks Frustration for Subscribers
Disney+ was met with technical difficulties on its launch day Tuesday (November 12), leading subscribers to share their frustrations via social media.
It was the most-anticipated streaming service release ever, but many people couldn't access any content after it officially went live at around 12:30 AM EST last night. Users were met with tons of error messages, as well as problems signing up, logging in and streaming movies and TV shows. While they were able to download the app and even open it up, many weren't able to do much more than that rendering it unusable.
The company has since released a statement, acknowledging the inconvenience:
"The demand for #DisneyPlus has exceeded our highest expectations. We are so pleased you’re excited to watch all your favorites and are working quickly to resolve any current issues. We appreciate your patience," Disney+'s official Twitter account wrote.
However, this didn't stop users from venting on Twitter.
Hopefully, Disney+ will be up and running properly in no time so everyone can enjoy everything it has to offer, which includes your favorite Disney Channels shows, all the Marvel films and more.
