Dash Camera Footage of Officers in Mesquite Rescuing Man Trapped in Burning SUV

Police officers in Mesquite, Texas, were able to save a man trapped in a burning SUV early Sunday morning with footage of the rescued captured by one officer’s dash camera.
ABC News reported the crash occurred on a southbound service road of IH-40 near the Dallas suburb. The driver and lone occupant of the car, Hector Valles, was transported to Baylor Hospital in Dallas for treatment.
The video shows two officers trying to pry the driver’s door open with their hands with witnesses initially shooting footage of the incident before lending a helping hand.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
