Could “State Of The Art” be Gotye’s Next Single? [VIDEO]

Man I'm really hoping its not. I mean Gotye can release whatever song he wants to, its his album, but this isn't necessarily a pop song by any means.

It sounds like one of those "experimental" songs where you just know the "experiment" part went wrong somewhere. Like if this was a mad scientists experiment there would now be pitchfork wielding villagers hunting down said scientist. And the video isn't helping.

Its some weird cartoon family with a haunted organ. Or something.

Now whether this is good or bad, Gotye's record label people don't want him to release this song. But they do want him to release the title track, "Making Mirrors". And that song isn't much better.

So I'm going to go out on a limb and say that we won't be hearing from Gotye anytime soon...
