Canyon Man Sentenced to Over 11 Years for Possession of Child Pornography
A Canyon, Texas man has been sentenced to over 11 years in federal prison for possession of child pornography.
46 year-old Neal Edmond Brown was arrested in October 2017 after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received information that he received a pornographic image from Skype.
After an investigation, NCMEC discovered that Brown was uploading child pornography from his work computer. Brown was the Director of School Finance Operations at Region 16 ESC. A search of Brown’s office on June 21, 2017, revealed over 900 images and over 200 videos of child pornography on electronic devices.
Brown faces 135 months in federal prison for possession of prepubescent child pornography.
