See Hundreds of Geese Take Over a Lubbock Lake [Video]
Throughout the winter, Canada geese fly over Lubbock during their annual migration. But they also make a pit stop at the city's playa lakes.
We didn't count exactly how many geese we saw at this playa lake located near Quaker Avenue and 82nd Street, but they had to number in the hundreds. And with several more lakes just like this one around the city, it's safe to say that Lubbock is currently hosting thousands of geese at any time.
