Some people might think it’s pretty clever that Ben & Jerry’s is marketing “Schweddy Balls” ice cream in reference to a popular Saturday Night Live sketch featuring Alec Baldwin. The ladies (and gentlemen?) over at One Million Moms are not those people. The activism group is calling the flavor “anything but appealing,” not to mention tasteless. The conservative group is asking those of a similar mindset to bombard Ben & Jerry’s public relations manager with letters demanding that no more pints of “Schweddy Balls” be distributed. Why? Because these moms have had it up to here with the ice cream maker’s antics.
Here's the Classic SNL skit that sparked the fantastic flavor:

In the past, Ben & Jerry’s has released controversial ice creams, like a special edition of Chubby Hubby called Hubby Hubby last year which celebrated gay marriage. It seems that offending customers has become an annual tradition for Ben & Jerry’s. The ice cream is being released in a limited batch, which means it will be distributed nationwide but only for three or four months. If it proves popular, another batch might be forthcoming.
