Austin Thieves Steal $18,000 Worth of Cookies
Two North Austin cookie monsters snatched a trailer full of Pepperidge Farm cookies and crackers.
Police say that the pair, Joshua Schoen (33) and Gustavo Banda (29), was found dressed in black and holding bolt cutters, a flashlight. Oh, and an appetite that would make the Sesame Street character blush!
Let's face it: We all get the munchies. And who doesn't like some Girl Scout Thin Mints or Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies. But $18,000 worth is a bit excessive.
