Arrest Made in Fatal East Lubbock Hit-and-Run
UPDATE (3/11/15): Anthony Fidel Acosta was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center just before 5 p.m.
No charges have been listed, but an arrest warrant was issued for Acosta for failure to stop and render aid. No attorney has been listed for Acosta.

Lubbock police have obtained an arrest warrant for the owner of a car suspected to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run in North Lubbock over the weekend.
Reynaldo Rincon was killed after being struck at the intersection of 32nd St. and Ave. G early Sunday morning.
An arrest warrant for Anthony Acosta, 35, has been issued for failure to stop and render aid.
Police said they received a tip Monday morning that led investigators to a home in the 1700 block of 28th St. After obtaining a search warrant, police seized Acosta’s 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo with “visible damage”.
Investigators continue to process the vehicle for evidence.
