Arrest Made in Lubbock Pharmacy Robbery

Lubbock Police officers responded to a call regarding a robbery in progress at around 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 5th.
26-year-old Ryan Espinoza was identified as the suspect, and officers were able to locate him in the 8100 block of Vernon Avenue later that day. He was taken into custody without incident.
Reports say that Espinoza entered the Highland Pharmacy in the 2400 block of 50th Street with a weapon and demanded pharmaceutical narcotics. After receiving them, Espinoza is said to have left.
The building was placed on a short lockdown as officers searched the building.
