Are You Brave Enough to Take on the Texas Roadhouse Roll Challenge?
A recent challenge has been busting guts and leaving Texas Roadhouse with a limited supply of rolls.
This challenge involves eating as many of their delicious rolls as you can before you tap out. Fortunately, you don’t have to compete alone; this challenge is a shared venture between you and your closest buds.
The initial record was an astonishing 22 baskets of bread, making it a total of 88 rolls. I don’t know about you, but if I just eat two of those suckers, I feel like I'm going to burst. All of that buttery, yeast-filled bread makes for happy taste buds, but does not make for a happy gut.
Of course, someone had to challenge that record, so a group of friends made their way to their nearest Texas Roadhouse so they could test their limits. Basket after basket, they trudged through and made it to 23 baskets, beating the previous recorded record with 92 rolls.
Now, this challenge doesn’t stop there. Another group of friends decided to take their shot at defeating the Texas Roadhouse roll challenge. They absolutely tore up the competition, leaving them behind in a trail of crumbs, honey butter, and tears.
This beast of a group ate a total of 132 rolls from 33 baskets.
I haven’t found a group that has beat that record, and I really don’t know how you could without a whole army of hungover college boys.
If you know anyone in Lubbock that has attempted this challenge, then please let me know, especially if they manage to take down more than 132 rolls in one sitting.
