Animal Week Continues With Snakes on a Road in Texas
Last week, it was pork on the shoulder of the road. Today it was monkeys attacking people. But this time it is snakes on a roadway!
Thirty snakes and a baby alligator got to hang out in Bexar County, near San Antonio last week.
It all happened when a transport van carrying the snakes crashed into a car. (The driver and child in the other vehicle were sent to a local hospital for treatment.)
So in the crash, copperheads, a diamondback rattler and water moccasins slithered away.
Twenty three of the 30 snakes were captured, with one of the snakes dying. The baby alligator is still on the loose.
So if you're near San Antonio, be on the lookout for a baby alligator and friends.
