Adorable Video: Lubbock Prairie Dogs Love Pumpkins Too
We have all seen adorable videos of different animals eating pumpkins. Honestly, it is sometimes my favorite part of October's end.
Lubbock sadly doesn't have a zoo so we don't get to see our cute animals eating them until now.
Whether you’re five or ninety-five, the Science Spectrum Museum in Lubbock is a great place to visit. They have over 250 hands-on interactive science exhibits, Lubbock’s only public aquarium, the giant domed screen OMNI Theater or the daily live science shows, it’s the perfect place for the Explorer in all of us.
They also have prairie dogs and they showed us they love pumpkins too.
Lubbock's Science Spectrum took to Facebook showing their prairie dogs chowing down on pumpkins they gave them.
They aren't like the hippos eating them in one bite, these pumpkins are going to last a long time and you can tell they really enjoy it.
While the Science Spectrum was closed for Thanksgiving that doesn't mean there still wasn't a lot of fun to be had, see the video below of these cute prairie dogs enjoying their meals just like us.
So next year I guess we need to all be donating some pumpkins for them because this was just too cute not to share.
You can go check out these prairie dogs and so much more at the Science Spectrum located at 2579 S Loop 289 #250, Lubbock, TX 79423.
Their holiday wonderland is December 10th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with winter crafts, cool science, and pictures with Santa. This is a free event to attend.
You can find out more about them on their website or on how to get tickets.
