Adam Levine Poses for Terry Richardson

Adam Levine posed for — and with — Terry Richardson in a new series released on the celebrity photographer’s website. Though Richardson often shoots familiar subjects in new ways, like when he captured Kesha without makeup or Jared Leto in a mesh tank top, he kept the Levine shoot pretty basic.

The mentor from ‘The Voice‘ is shown in a plain white t-shirt in the seven black and white photos, which appear at TerrysDiary.com. In one image, Levine stares straight ahead, mouth open in a wicked snarl, arms at his sides, revealing the tattoos that cover his upper arms. Another shot shows Levine wearing Richardson’s glasses and giving the camera the middle finger.

A few of the photos include the photographer himself. One image depicts Richardson pretending (we hope!) to punch the Maroon 5 vocalist in the jaw. Another shows Levine with one eyebrow raised as he and Richardson give a cheesy thumbs-up to the camera.

Though we bet a lot of people would love to have seen Levine play into the sex symbol angle and show more skin, like Lady Gaga did in her football-themed Richardson image, this is still a really cool collection of pics.
