Actor Shia LaBeouf Arrested in Downtown Austin for Public Intoxication

The former Transformers star was trying to get into a bar but was denied before the arrest.

According to KXAN, police arrived on the scene around 7:45 p.m. in front of the Bat Bar in Downtown Austin.

TMZ reports that a witness says he was extremely drunk or high when he ran down the street and jaywalked in front of the police even though they warned him not to.

Ben Blake, a bouncer at a downtown bar told KXAN: “Obviously he gets arrested a lot, he came down here, he acted up and APD doesn’t put up with that. So he got what he got, you know?”
