One Scandinavian university plans to roll the red carpet out to one international student for their upcoming autumn semester.

Norwegian Business School (BI) plans to brief their entire home city of Oslo, Norway, about the winning student in an effort to make them feel more welcome including a televised documentary and magazine spread. The school even plans to advertise the winner to prospective companies to ensure they land an excellent job upon graduation. Watch the video above for more details.

Norway could serve as a good environment to learn about business and is similar to Texas, on paper at least, with a thriving petroleum industry based in the North Sea. Other business pursuits in Oslo are shipping and biomedical research.

The World Bank Group ranked Norway as 24th in the world for starting a business in 2016; the US came in at 49. In the overall “Ease of Doing Business” ranking, the US came in two slots higher than Norway as 7th. However, this is due to less credit restrictions in America.

To win the “A Flying Start” competition, an international student must first be accepted into a program at BI.

BI was founded in 1943 and offers dozens of degrees from bachelors to doctorates focusing on business and related fields.
