A Heartfelt Message From Texas Tech’s Masked Rider Before She Hands Over the Reins
A heartfelt year-end message from Texas Tech's Masked Rider recaps a lot, and is up on the Texas Tech Masked Rider's social media page.
It's been a big year for Lyndi Starr, the 2018-2019 Masked Rider, who shared a message that gives us a true sense of her time working with Fearless Champion and substitute horse, Cody. A horse's spirit makes a huge impact and means so much. You get a feel for that from what Starr wrote.
Here's the message from Texas Tech's Masked Rider on Facebook:
A second Facebook post thanked Cody, the horse with Aggies roots who filled in for Fearless Champion after he suffered a pre-season leg injury:
A new Masked Rider will be revealed in a Transfer of Reins ceremony this Friday, April 19th at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center. That same day, a Passing of Guns will name a new Raider Red.
Thanks so much for sharing this message, Lyndi Starr. We really appreciate all you, Fearless Champion and Cody have done this year!
