50 Cent may be working hard on his businesses right now, but that doesn't mean that he has forgotten about his promised music to fans. While he revealed five years ago that he would be releasing his album, Street King Immortal, sometime in the future, fans are still patiently awaiting an update. During a new interview with Muscle & Fitness Magazine, the Get Rich or Die Tryin' rapper talked about the possibility of retirement.

The Queens native reveals that he is contemplating retiring from rap for good after he drops Street King Immortal, which he first announced on Ellen back in 2011. He told the mag, “I want to finish with that project. I don’t want to write another record after that. You know how some artists got to have confirmation that they’re right. I have that confirmation in f--king 35, 40 million [albums] that I already sold.”

With the amount of projects that Fifty has sold, we can't say that it's a bad way to bow out of music. The only slightly positive news is that fans have been anticipating Street King Immortal for years, so it may be awhile until they see the light of day for the project.

In the meantime, we can all look forward to the next season of Power in 2017, as the show has been renewed for at least two more seasons. 50 Cent has a lot on his plate, but his and the G-Unit brand are continuing to be catered to accordingly. Read 50's full interview here.
