5-Year-Old Boy Discovers Dinosaur Bone Potentially 100-Million Years Old in Mansfield, Texas
A 5-year-old boy and his Zookeeper father from the Dallas-area uncovered a bone this week near a Mansfield shopping center.
KERA News reported the fossil might belong to a specimen from a family of dinosaurs known as Nodosaurs and could be 100-million years old.
The bone is now being transferred to a Southern Methodist Laboratory for further research, said KERA.
