Twenty-five people were arrested in a prostitution operation that lasted two days in Central Lubbock.

The operation, conducted by the Lubbock Police Department's Special Operations Division, the Texas Department of Public Safety and Homeland Security Investigations, took place on Thursday, May 12th and Friday, May 13th. Eighteen felony arrests were made for solicitation of prostitution, and seven arrests were made for misdemeanor prostitution.

There were also eight additional arrests for Delivery of Dangerous Drugs, Endangering a Child and Evading Arrest. Six women were identified as possible victims of human trafficking and contacted by authorities.
