Each and every year up in Calgary Canada a minor league hockey team holds and event called the "Teddy Bear Toss". Here is how it works. Everyone brings a teddy bear on the night of the toss and when the home team scores it's first goal, everyone chunks their teddy onto the ice and once collected the bears go to local hospitals and charities.

This year the Calgary fans did not let the kiddos down as you will see, after the first goal the ice and players are bombarded with over 21,000 teddies.
