
118 Pounds of Marijuana Seized in the Panhandle
A Texas DPS traffic stop in the Oldham County resulted in the seizure of more than 118 pounds of marijuana.
On Friday (Sept. 28), a DPS trooper stopped a vehicle travelling east on I-40, near Vega, for a traffic violation. During the stop, the trooper found packages of marijuana in luggage.
The driver, 50 year-old Frank Williams, was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana, then booked into the Oldham County Jail.
The drugs were allegedly being transported from California to Dallas.
