10 Years of Harry Potter a Retrospective [VIDEO]

Daniel Radcliffe was a month past his 11th birthday when Harry Potter producer David Heyman called his parents to tell them he'd been cast as the boy wizard. That was the call that started a 10 year world wide phenomenon. The Harry Potter franchise has since blossomed into eight feature films by the release of its final chapter Thursday night. The seven films released to date have grossed $6.4 billion at the international box office, making it the highest-grossing film series of all time. And it has made bonafide movie stars out of its three young leads, Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. To celebrate the upcoming release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, let's take a look back at to years of Harry Potter.
