Sometimes it's fun to watch The Google auto-complete as you put in search terms.

One phrase that I've checked a number of times is "Lubbock is." Now, if you stop right about when you type the "s" in "is," all you're going to get is Lubbock ISD stuff. Lots and lots of stuff from the Lubbock Independent School District.

However, if you go ahead and put a space after that "s," as if you were going to put in a new word, you find this:

Yes, people are Googling to find out what county the city of Lubbock is in...which is Lubbock County. You'd think they'd have figured that out without Google.
