In the course of doing my duty as a citizen, I like to actually look up the positions that candidates are running on, in other words, folks gotta earn my vote. I don't believe in "straight tickets" because I find it intellectually lazy and it just doesn't make sense in every election.

I use Vote411.org to find this information quickly, and you can even print out your choices to take to the ballot box with you -just don't use your phone in the booth- it can void your vote.

So in my mostly dry and frankly boring research I stumbled on a treasure under Judge Texas Court of Criminal Appeals Place 2. And that treasure is Adam "Bulletproof" King Blackwell Reposa.

When asked how he maintains impartiality, Reposa states, "I haven't raised any funds and I am not accepting donations. I'm a successful small businessman, I've got enough money. If you want to support me, buy a pizza."

That sounds like a man I can trust.

He also has amazing videos on Youtube, which are basically performance art- he parodies law commercials in a hostile way to force his viewership to think critically about the business that is law in Texas. There's lots of yelling and weird editing. It's quite brilliant actually. But beware the one in which he smears himself in oil, it made me a little uncomfortable.

So am I really voting for a total outsider- a green party candidate at that?  Yes, really. Because his actual positions are very in line with my own. Because I actually read what he cares about. Also he's really, really weird and I like that.
