‘Weird Al’ Yankovic Debuts ‘Blurred Lines’ Parody ‘Word Crimes’ [VIDEO]

"Weird Al" Yankovic wants you to watch your grammar and punctuation. In his new song and video for 'Word Crimes,' which parodies Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines,' the veteran spoof man tells listeners to stop making common grammatical errors and pay more attention to what they're writing.

"If you can't write in the proper way / If you don't know how to conjugate / Maybe you flunked that class / And maybe now you thought that people mock you online," he sings, clearly taking aim at those who blog.

And Al uses some pretty impressive wordplay to get his English 101 message across. "I hate these word crimes / Like I could care less / That means you do care, at least a little / Don't be a moron / You better slow down / And use the right pronoun / Show the world you're a no-clown," he croons.

'Word Crimes' is the second single to be released from the entertainer's new album, 'Mandatory Fun.' He'll be releasing a total of eight new parodies all with an accompanying video. On Monday (July 15), he dropped a spoof of Pharrell's 'Happy' titled 'Tacky.'
