This timelapse covers about as long as I've been alive, and it's really neat to watch Lubbock grow from an aerial satellite perspective.

Lubbock gets much more dense and much more green as planted trees get 32 years to grow in the timelapse seen below. I'm willing to bet most of them are seedless maples and that those folks can't grow any grass under their trees either.

Want to watch another city change over 32 years? Check out Google Earth Engine Timelapse. It's amazing that this much data exists and it's really neat that anyone can review it now.
