Check Out a Cool Vintage 8mm Video of Lubbock’s AT&T Jones Stadium

Our little West Texas town continues to grow, with the development of the West End shopping plaza to the proposed annexation of about 400 acres of development south of 114th.

For those of you who have been here forever, check out this old 8mm video of AT&T Jones Stadium.

The skyline has changed a bit, but perhaps the biggest difference is the lack of the massive jumbo screen on the north side of the stadium along with the large parking structure just across the Marsha Sharp freeway.

Rumor has it that the big screen was built by the university due to the fact that folks were poaching the games at the stadium with prime viewing atop the parking garage.
