The Lubbock Police Department Wants You To Meet Their K-9 Partners

I keep up with the LPD on Facebook because I have some friends in the department. Also cops have the greatest stories to share. So I decided to share their post of their puppy pals.

These are the official LPD K-9's. They listed who is who, and the dog's specialty in the department. Hopefully the next time you see one of these pooches its just to say hi and not for any other reason. But please always ask the officer if you can approach the dog first. They are highly trained and have certain protocols that must be followed. Plus you don't want to lose a finger or 3.

RIKI - Narcotics/Patrol Dog, Belgian Malinios. Has served 2 years.
BRUNO - Narcotics/Patrol Dog, Belgian Malinios. Has served 3.5 yrs.
BOBO - Narcotics/Patrol Dog, Belgian Malinios. Has served 8 months.
HIKO - Narcotics/Patrol Dog, Belgian Malinios. Has served 4 yrs.
OOLAF - Narcotics/Patrol Dog, Belgian Malinios. Rookie Officer.
HARLEY - LPD's 1st female K-9, Explosive/Patrol Dog, Dutch Shepard. Has served 8 months.
ENZO - Narcotics/Patrol Dog, SWAT trained, Belgian Malinios. Has served 1 yr.
