Text Acronyms That Kids Are Using and Parents Should Know

Technology moves so fast these days that it is impossible to keep up. Especially with all the text language that changes every day. But you need to know some of these.

This list is from a digital editor at CNN named Kelly Wallace and is in no way comprehensive. Some of these might not even be right. And many of them will be changed by the kids before you finish reading this post. But better to be informed than not.

Parents need to check kids phones for these. Kids use these so your parents don't know what you're talking about.

1. IWSN - I want sex now

2. GNOC - Get naked on camera

3. NIFOC - Naked in front of computer

4. PIR - Parent in room

5 CU46 - See you for sex

6. 53X - Sex

7. 9 - Parent watching

8. 99 - Parent gone

9. 1174' - Party meeting place

10. THOT - That hoe over there

11. CID - Acid (the drug)
