Texas Tech Student Develops System To Stop Football Head Injuries [VIDEO]

America's favorite sport is football. Unfortunately it is a fairly violent sport and players get injured all the time. One Texas Tech student has developed a system to help stop some head injuries.

Head injuries are the worst kind, and the most common in football. Concussions specifically are often under diagnosed and extremely dangerous for players. While he was a student at Olton High School Berto Garcia began his science fair project to reduce those concussions among football players.

While Berto's system might be a little cumbersome now, in a few years with more study and technological improvement, it could be a reality for all football players, and potentially save lives in the sport we all love so much.
