This year's NFL playoff games are full of Red Raiders.

Anthony Lynn is the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers. They beat the Ravens by out-coaching the John Harbaugh-led team and dominating rookie Lamar Jackson most of the game. The only two touchdowns the Ravens scored in the game were touchdown passes to Michael Crabtree, who went to Texas Tech.

I don't want to undersell the job by Lynn, though, who developed a game plan with his coordinators that overwhelmed the Ravens in a 23-17 win.

In the other AFC Wildcard game, La'Raven Clark's Colts might have won the game, but the most productive receiver in the entire game was the Houston Texans' Keke Coutee, who finished with 11 catches (no other wideout had more than five) and 110 yards. Coutee also scored the only touchdown of the game for the Texans, who fell 21-7.

The Seahawks and Cowboys game was iced when Longhorn Michael Dickson was forced into duty in an impossible situation, drop-kicking an onside kickoff. That has nothing to do with Texas Tech, but it feels right to mention it.

Finally, the Bears had a terrible field goal kicker in 2018. Cody Parkey hit six crossbars this season; he missed 10 field goals. He will not be with the Bears in 2019. Why am I mentioning this in an article about the wildcard weekend? Because all of the Bears front office people are researching draft eligible field goal kickers this morning, and Texas Tech's Clayton Hatfield is at the top of the list.

Overall, that's a pretty good weekend for Texas Tech football.
