The Texas Tech Red Raiders were offered at +450 odds for the Big 12 money line according to Odds Shark. Texas Tech is listed behind the Kansas Jayhawks, who are the favorites at +200 and West Virginia at +300.

So hypothetically, if you bet $100 on the Texas Tech Red Raiders to win the Big 12 Tournament, you would get a payout of $550.

That's not too shabby.

The rest of the field shakes out like this: Kansas State at +700, TCU at +1000, Baylor at +1200, Oklahoma, Texas and Oklahoma State at +2000 and Iowa State at +2500.

The Jayhawks have won the conference tournament five of the last 10 seasons.

The general consensus is that Texas Tech will rest its players moving forward to help injured stars Keenan Evans and Zach Smith. But there's a potentially monumental upgrade for winning the Big 12 tournament, or at least a game or two.

The payout for the Red Raiders winning the tournament could even be a 2-seed in the NCAA Tournament, up from the 4-seed they're projected at now.

The Red Raiders will play the either Iowa State or Texas on Thursday. If they win that game, they'll face the winner of West Virginia and Baylor for a shot at the finals. If they make it through that, they play Kansas, Kansas State, TCU, Oklahoma or Oklahoma State for the Big 12 Tournament title.
