Have you ever wondered what Christmas was really like back in the old days? I sure have. You have an opportunity to check it out at the Silent Wings Museum this holiday season.

Experience creating Christmas as they did in World War II. Music from the era will set the tone as you learn to make Christmas treats, holiday ornaments and decorations just like they did back then.

There will be plenty of items, just like the ones they used back in the 1940s. You just need to bring along your imagination and it will be a real old-fashioned Christmas celebration. Parents, grandparents and children are all invited.

The event is Saturday, December 17th from 12 – 2 p.m. and is for all ages. The cost is $10. Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, December 13th at 5 p.m. For more information or to register call 806-775-3049.

The Silent Wings Museum is located at 6202 N. I-27 in Lubbock.
