There are several Ben & Jerry's stores in Texas, but none in the West Texas area. Should that change?

Though it's understood that, for the most part, Texas is Blue Bell country, that hasn't stopped the Ben & Jerry's franchise from establishing its scoop shops in the Lone Star State.

The ice cream maker has opened 10 stores in Texas. The closest one to Lubbock is located in San Antonio - around a six-hour drive. Most of the other locations are near the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
