The NES Classic edition has become one of the must-haves for this holiday season. Whether you're just being nostalgic or are introducing these classic 8-bit games to a new generation, this is the console for you.

When it was released on November 11, it sold out almost immediately online and in retail stores around Lubbock. I was lucky and got one. Since then, the NES Classic has become very hard to find. If you buy it online, you may spend $250 or more.

Well, we have some good news for you! Local retailers will be re-stocking this hot item very soon.

Officials with Best Buy have told us to expect them back in the Lubbock store on December 20. GameStop also said they will be getting the NES Classic back soon, but couldn’t give us a date. The same was true of Target and Walmart. Of course, supplies will be limited in each store and first-come, first-served.

There's a great website NowInStock.net that will help you figure out when online retailers and local Targets will get more stock on the NES Classic.

Did you get one on release or are you still waiting? Let us know!
