A Prosperity Bank in Lubbock was robbed by a woman Friday morning (March 13).

[Original story] According to police, a young Hispanic woman walked into the Prosperity Bank, located at 8232 University Ave., around 10:36 a.m. and reportedly threatened a teller if she didn't hand over money. After receiving an unknown amount of money from the teller, the suspect left in a tan, four-door passenger car.

Lubbock Police Department Lt. Ray Mendoza told KLBK that threats were made against the bank teller and that police are investigating if those threats were credible.

Lubbock Police are urging anyone with information on this case to call Crime Line at 741-1000.  A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of this suspect.
