There are a lot of creative and cute "announcement" photography on the internet these days -- everything from engagements to gender revels have had really great, really creative photography. And now, even puppy adoptions are being commemorated with professional photos.

One couple in Lubbock got really creative when they adopted their fur baby, Owen, through the South Plains SPCA:

The images, taken by Lubbock-based photographer Shelby B, are incredibly adorable and tell the pup's unique story, which resonated so much that it was picked up by national news outlets like The Dodo and Good Morning America.

I believe very strongly in "adopt don't shop," so these images really made me smile.

If you're looking for your own pup with her own story to tell, head over to South Plains SPCA (or any other local shelter or adoption group) and start meeting some animals. You forever friend is waiting for you!
