Lubbock Police Identify Woman Killed in Car Crash at Office Depot

One person was killed following a car accident on the Marsha Sharp Freeway Sunday (Oct. 21st).

Lubbock Police said they received reports at around 11:30 a.m. that a car had crashed into the side of the Office Deport located at 6044 Marsha Sharp Freeway. The car "traveled through the parking lot, over a curb, before striking a tree and crashing into the east side of Office Depot," Lubbock Police Department said in a statement to media.

According to LPD, the driver, later identified as 82-year-old Mary Lee Terral, was the only person in the car. Terral was transported to Covenant Medical Center after the crash. She later died.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
