Lubbock's beloved Halloween attraction, which was voted one of the best in America, is bringing some new scares and old favorites for its 10th anniversary.

Nightmare On 19th Street co-owner Wes Nessman took us inside three of the four attractions for an exclusive first-look.

From Blood Moon Manor's rundown, animal carcass-strewn hallways to the desiccated pirate skeletons inside The Lost City and Clowntown 3D's unnerving clown drawings, it's clear a lot of blood, sweat and tears (emphasis on blood) went into the construction of the attractions. A crew works nearly year-round to build the sprawling attraction, which also boasts an expansive outdoor trail with its own unique Halloween theme.

Nessman says this year people should also expect some new surprises, including something called "The Grinder."

Nightmare On 19th Street, which is located behind the Lonestar Amphitheater at 602 E. 19th, kicks off its 10th year with a scream on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 during a special preview weekend.

Take a look at two more preview videos below.
