Each state in the country has their share of amazing, historic, iconic places to eat. What joint gets the mad props in Texas?

Now keep in mind, the folks from Thrillist may or may not be from Texas. They may or may not have the best palates in the tasting business. They may not have the first-hand historical experience us "locals" have. But, they've done a fair amount of research, a lot of "cold calling" and more than a few cross country trips. To qualify, a restaurant had to be in business for 30+ years and still be a crowd favorite today.

Whether or not you agree that The Salt Lick just southwest of Austin is indeed Texas most "iconic" is probably a point of personal opinion, but it made the top of the list for the Lone Star State.
